From the fertile slopes of Mt. Elgon in Bungoma County, this Kenya Peaberry Menu Factory lot delivers a classic Kenyan cup with bright acidity, fruit complexity, and satisfying sweetness. In the cup, expect vibrant notes of pineapple and hibiscus, balanced by rich cacao nibs, brown sugar, and bright citrus of lemon & lime, all wrapped in a light body and lively finish.
Grown at 1,800–1,900 masl in volcanic soils, these peaberries benefit from cool high-altitude conditions that encourage slow, even ripening—intensifying sugars and flavor clarity. The Menu Factory cooperative supports smallholder families whose diversified agriculture and dedicated care contribute to this lot’s quality.
Peaberries, the naturally occurring single beans that form inside a coffee cherry, are prized for their density and concentrated sweetness. After selective handpicking of ripe cherries, this coffee is fully washed and sun-dried on raised beds, highlighting the clean expression of the terroir and varietals.
With its bright acidity, tropical fruit character, and layered sweetness, this Kenya PB is an approachable yet expressive coffee that showcases the region’s renowned cup profile.
