From the sun-drenched hills of Ciudad Bolívar, Antioquia in Colombia, Paula 20 Brix is a standout natural-processed microlot that marries deep sweetness with fruit complexity and rich chocolate character. In the cup, this lot offers lush notes of ripe blackberry and dark chocolate, layered with hints of cognac and fine oak, culminating in a smooth, resonant finish that balances fruit depth with comforting sweetness.

Grown at 1,600–1,800 masl on Finca Santa Elena, this coffee reflects both the region’s fertile Andean soils and the farm’s meticulous approach to harvesting. Selectively hand-picked cherries are dried naturally with the whole fruit intact, allowing sugars and fruit acids to intensify and fuse with the bean during drying—yielding pronounced body and a distinctly aromatic profile.

Named for its 20° Brix sugar concentration—a measure of exceptional ripeness—this microlot highlights the careful cultivation and innovative practices of farmers Paula and Samuel, whose sustainability efforts underscore both cup quality and community impact.

With its rich fruit character, chocolate backbone, and nuanced sweetness, Paula 20 Brix is a bold yet refined natural that showcases Colombia’s specialty coffee evolution.
